E-Learning Modules for Working with Newcomers

The Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) has a series of FREE e-learning modules designed to build skills and capacities for people working with newcomer/immigrant populations. While the modules are meant for an Ontario context, the modules could be adapted to meet local needs and contexts in other regions. There are modules on working with LGBTQ and youth newcomers, as well as courses on violence, accessibility, and mental health. CLICK HERE to register and look at course descriptions.
