LINKAGES, a five-year cooperative agreement funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is the largest global projected dedicated to key populations. The project is led by FHI 360 in partnership with IntraHealth International, Pact, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Every day, transgender (trans) people face human rights violations that harm their health and well-being, limit their opportunities and increase their vulnerability to HIV. FHI 360, along with partners including the International Reference Group for Trans People and HIV (IGRT) have recently launched a resource that provides programmers and policymakers with a framework to understand the risks faced by the trans community and describes concrete steps that can be taken to reduce the burden of HIV and protect the rights of trans people around the world.
ABDGN applauds fellow Consortium of MSM and Transgender Networks partner IGRT on the launch of this important resource. To access the report CLICK HERE
